Maria’s Success Story
Maria was about 14-years-old when she first came to Couri & Smyth Health for Life. She was experiencing painful periods that would cause her to faint and even throw up.
These painful periods were affecting her daily life, causing her to miss school, not be able to hang out with friends, and miss church.
Maria has been with Dr. Smyth for about 5 years now. Dr. Smyth helped to diagnose Maria with endometriosis and interstitial cystitis.
While seeing Dr. Smyth, Maria always felt heard, seen, and supported. She no longer feels that her body has control of her and, more importantly, no longer feels alone.
